Direct outdoor sowing: From April–May, once the risk of frost has passed.

Sowing depth: Sow the seeds shallowly or cover only lightly with a thin layer of soil, as light supports germination.
Spacing: Keep about 25–30 cm between plants for good air circulation.
Germination temperature: Around 18–21°C; seeds usually germinate within 10–14 days.
