Therefore, choosing certified products is good for the planet because the farmers and growers produce with respect for nature, climate, and the animals. By growing flowers in a natural way, we help enrich biodiversity – both on our farm and in your garden.
- Our flowers extend the blooming season and provide a valuable source of nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
- With every bulb or tuber you plant, you help support and strengthen biodiversity right at home.

Fair trade and respect for people and nature are at the core of what we do.
- We pay fair prices and ensure good working conditions for everyone in our supply chain.

2 – Healthy Soil
Our flower farm is rooted in fertile, healthy soil. Strong roots lead to stronger plants, helping to prevent disease and reducing the need for chemical treatments.
- Soil analysis – We regularly test our soil and replenish nutrients using natural fertilizers.
- Crop rotation – We rotate crops across fields to prevent soil exhaustion, returning to the same plot only once every five years.
- Collaboration – By exchanging land with other growers, we keep our soil healthy, rich, and full of life.
3 – Minimal Packaging
We believe in reducing waste and choose sustainable packaging wherever possible:
- Plastic-free – Our flower bulbs and dahlia tubers are packaged 100% without plastic.
- Reuse – We repurpose incoming cardboard boxes as protective filling material.
- Recycling – Any leftover plastic is disposed of through specialized recycling programs.
5 – Water Management & Organic Solutions
We use water and crop protection products as efficiently and sustainably as possible.
- No tap water – We rely on rainwater, groundwater, and canal water when needed.
- Organic crop protection – Every year we test new organic solutions to control diseases, pests, and weeds.
- No neonicotinoids – We haven’t used these harmful chemicals for years.
6 – Technology & Energy
We use innovative technology to reduce our energy consumption and use of resources.
- Solar power – We generate our own energy with solar panels on both of our farm buildings.
- LED lighting – All of our lighting is energy-efficient.
- Thermal screens – Our greenhouses are equipped with energy-saving screens that filter sunlight during the day and retain heat at night.

1 - Vergroten biodiversiteit:
Onze bollen en knollen worden op een zo natuurlijk mogelijke manier gekweekt. Door de liefde voor bloemen te verspreiden dragen ook steeds meer consumenten bij aan het vergroten van de biodiversiteit in hun eigen tuin.
2 - Een gezonde bodem:
Onze kwekerij draait om een gezond bodemleven. Sterke wortels maken onze planten vitaler, wat ziektes helpt voorkomen. We gebruiken steeds meer biologische middelen en geen kraanwater.
3 - Minimale verpakking
We minimaliseren verpakkingsmateriaal en kiezen voor duurzame opties, waarbij we plastic zoveel mogelijk vermijden. .
3 - Maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid:
Eerlijke handel staat bij ons centraal, zodat iedereen in de keten, van medewerker, producent tot klant, eerlijk behandeld wordt en een eerlijke prijs krijgt.

Dankzij onze "On the Way to Planet Proof" certificering, worden we continue gestimuleerd om steeds te verbeteren op het gebied van duurzaamheid en maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid.
