Tips
Sow outdoors in rows from April to July (for stalk harvest), or until September (for leaf harvest). Leave a bit more space between rows when growing for stalks. The stalks are cooked like celery or asparagus.
You can sow regularly from mid-March to late August outdoors in rows. Cut the leaves a few centimeters above the ground; the plants will regrow. The green leaves with red veins can be eaten like spinach or very young in a salad mix.
Plants can also be grown to harvest the leaf stalks, which are eaten like celery, in which case plant with slightly more space.
