    Sowing month indoors February–March
    Planting distance 80 x 40 cm
    Harvest time August–September

    Tips

Sowing: In February-March in a heated room (around 20°C). Once the first leaves appear, prick out (pot separately) into flower or peat pots. Transplant outdoors in May. Place in a sunny spot.

Plant spacing 80x40 cm. Support the plants with a stake and tie them up. When 3 to 4 flower clusters have formed, pinch out the top of the plant. Remove side shoots that grow from the leaf axils at an early stage (so-called “suckers”).

    Water regularly.

    Harvest: From mid-August through September.
