With this carefully selected Butterfly & Bee Mix, you’ll turn your garden into a vibrant paradise.
The open flowers of these dahlia varieties are not only a delight to the eye, but also an essential source of nectar for butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects.

A joyful mix of colours, heights and shapes that brings movement, wonder and pure summer happiness to your garden – with hardly any effort!

These 7 varieties are included in the mix:
    ✔️ Impression Flamenco – approx. 50 cm
    ✔️ Dahlegria Tricolore – approx. 55 cm
    ✔️ Impression Famoso – approx. 50 cm
✔️ Kelsey Annie Joy – approx. 60 cm
    ✔️ Kelsey Sunshine – approx. 80 cm
    ✔️ Teesbrooke Audrey – approx. 90 cm
    ✔️ Verrone’s Obsidian – approx. 70 cm

    A mix with many benefits:
✔️ Rich in open flowers – easily accessible for bees and butterflies.
✔️ Varied heights – from 50 to 90 cm, ideal for both gardens and large pots.
✔️ Long flowering season – from summer into late autumn.

7 dahlia tubers are enough for about 1 to 1.5 m² of garden.
If you want to plant the dahlias in pots, we recommend using one tuber per pot of approx. 35–40 cm diameter.
If the pot is larger than 50 cm, you can plant 3 dahlias – or 5 if they are compact varieties.

These are the kind of flowers you’ll love to share with all that buzzes and flutters in your garden!

    Tips

Growing dahlias? Easier than you think!

Dahlias are one of the most rewarding summer flowers you can grow. With their lush blooms and long flowering season, they bring months of colour and joy to your garden from summer to late autumn. The more you pick them, the more flowers they produce. So you’ll enjoy them not only in the garden, but also in your home – and you can even gift someone a cheerful bouquet. How lovely is that? And what’s more: by planting dahlias in your own garden, you’re supporting nature – butterflies, bees and other insects will thrive on your organically grown flowers.

No green fingers? No problem. Dahlias are surprisingly easy to grow. These are the basics:

Sunny spot = happy dahlia: Dahlias love sunshine! Choose a spot in your garden where they’ll get at least 6 hours of sun a day. Plant them straight into the soil from late April, once there’s no more risk of frost. Want to enjoy earlier blooms or protect them from slugs? Start pre-sprouting them indoors from the end of March in a cool spot.

How to plant them: Dig a hole deep enough so the top of the tuber is 2–3 cm below the surface. That way, they still feel the sun’s warmth. Water after planting and keep the soil slightly moist but never too wet.

How many tubers do you need? For a full flower border, we recommend planting 5–7 tubers per m² (approx. 35 cm apart). That way you’ll get a sea of blooms! Taller varieties tend to spread a little wider and may need more space than the shorter ones.

    Care:

    • Water regularly once the plant starts growing, especially during dry weather to keep the soil lightly moist.

    • Check regularly that the plant is growing well and that slugs or insects aren’t eating your fresh young plants.

    • Pick flowers regularly – the more you pick, the more the plant will give back. Remove spent flowers too; it encourages new buds.

    • Dahlias are not frost hardy: in autumn, lift the tubers and store them in a dry, cool place for the next season.
