Centrantus Rubus Roseus
Centranthus ruber ‘Roseus’ is also known as red valerian or Jupiter’s beard. It’s an easy, strong garden plant that truly thrives in dry, warm spots. It blooms abundantly with airy flower clusters in bright pink shades and readily self-seeds. Let it do its thing and it will often reappear in your garden year after year.
It’s also a great cut flower. The stems are easy to harvest and stay beautiful for a long time in summer bouquets, especially if you keep cutting regularly.
