Calendula Orange Flash
Calendula is also known as marigold.
Orange Flash has soft orange petals with a dark brown centre. The petals are edible and can be used, for example, as a garnish on a summer salad.
Calendulas are easy bloomers, grow to about 60 cm tall, and are also suitable as cut flowers.

Tips
When to sow Calendula
Direct outdoor sowing: From March–April, once the risk of frost has passed.
Autumn sowing: In September–October for early blooming the following spring.
Sowing method
Preparation: Remove weeds and lightly rake the soil to loosen the surface.
Sowing: Scatter the seeds directly on the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil (about 0.5–1 cm).
Spacing: Keep 20–30 cm between plants for sufficient space to grow.
Watering: Water immediately after sowing to encourage germination.
Location and soil
