We’ve published a book!
With our colourful photos and the vivid storytelling of Katja Staring, we’ve created a delightful dahlia book. We met Katja in our dahlia fields. She’s an experienced outdoor journalist and founder of Daily Greenspiration.
Together, we love to spread the joy of flowers and nature, and of course the beauty of unique dahlias!

The dahlia
She has something special. She’s an eccentric diva, but also a mathematical wonder. The dahlia is a flower that catches the eye. She has thousands of faces, just as many forms, and appears in countless colours and eccentric shapes. And she gives everything she’s got, for months on end! The dahlia is fully back. With the rise of small-scale farmer florists, who grow flowers with care and share their beauty on social media, the flower has finally gained the status she deserves.
Quietly, over the past few years, thousands of new varieties have been introduced. Tiny pompoms, colossal dinner plates, flirty cactus shapes and modest stars. This book shows them in all their glory and highlights every aspect: from history to sustainable cultivation, from breeding to passion, illustrated with colourful, loving and sensational photos!
