Exclusive tulips
Maybe you already know us, or perhaps you are new here. At FAM Flower Farm, you will find exclusive dahlias, tulips and narcissus to grow yourself. Some are so special that you might not even recognise them. Plant the bulbs in October or November, and in spring they will bloom into the most beautiful flowers. And did you know that every order includes our FAM Magazine? It is full of inspiration and practical tips. Can’t choose from all the beauty? We are happy to share some tulip inspiration.
Ice Cream tulips
Among our exclusive tulip bulbs is the ‘Ice Cream’ variety. As the name suggests, it looks just like a scoop of ice cream. What makes this tulip so unique is the number of petals. It has even more than the typical double tulip. Early in its bloom, the flower bud is fresh green, but soon a pink-red colour appears. As the flower matures, more white petals emerge, making it look like a creamy topping.
Other beautiful tulips in our collection:
- Blushing Parrot: This tulip is exclusively available from us. It has a creamy white base with a soft pink blush.
- Dreamtouch: A large, double tulip that sometimes looks pink and sometimes purple, depending on the light.
- Crunchy Cummins: An exclusive tulip that changes colour as it blooms. It begins as soft purple and turns into a vivid purple-pink shade.
- Strawberry Cream: The sister of Ice Cream, with even larger flowers and long, graceful stems.
Our tulip bulbs are available to order from 1 July through early December. Sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.
