Allium Ambassador pack of 1
Allium Ambassador, with its large purple globes, is one of the most popular Alliums—and for good reason. Plant a few in your garden and enjoy them for years, as they’ll return on their own. Around late May or early June, the purple spheres of Allium Ambassador begin to emerge, quickly attracting bees and butterflies. Enjoy weeks of bloom, and even after flowering, the seed heads remain beautifully decorative.
With a height of about 100–130 cm, they make a striking statement at the top of the border! While most Alliums develop yellowing foliage at the base, this variety keeps its leaves relatively green during and after blooming.
Plant them about 25 cm apart in the garden, or try 5–7 bulbs in a large pot for a true showstopper!

Tips
Alliums – also known as ornamental onions – are true eye-catchers. Their large, globe-shaped flowers on tall stems create a real wow-effect in your garden or pots. They bloom richly in May and June – just between spring and summer flowers – and remain decorative even after flowering.
✔ Easy & reliable: Plant them in autumn and enjoy spectacular blooms year after year – even without green fingers
✔ Attract bees & butterflies: Alliums are rich in nectar and help support a healthy, lively garden
✔ Perfect to combine: Add structure and height – beautiful when paired with perennials and ornamental grasses that subtly hide the fading foliage
✔ Great for pots & borders: Whether in large containers or straight into the ground – Alliums always steal the show
✔ Sustainable & hardy: They return every year with very little care
How to plant & care for Alliums
✔ Planting depth: Three times the height of the bulb
✔ Location: Sunny and open – the more sun, the better they bloom
✔ Soil: Well-drained soil – better a bit dry than too wet
✔ Watering: Only at planting and during dry spells
✔ After flowering: Let the foliage die back completely before removing – this allows the bulb to recharge for next year
✔ Overwintering: Alliums are fully hardy – no need to lift the bulbs
Alliums bring colour, height and wonder to your garden!
Grow your own happiness – with the power of Alliums.
