Alise
A brand-new tulip variety exclusively available from us: Tulip Alise. It reminds us of the classic Rembrandt tulips.
These tulips were named after the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn, because the colours and patterns on the petals resemble the brushstrokes of a masterpiece.
During the height of the “Tulip Mania” in the 17th century, flamed tulips were the most sought after—and we still think they’re super trendy today!

Tips
Tulip bulbs – easy, versatile and a true celebration of spring
Tulips are incredibly easy to plant and bring a vibrant splash of colour to your garden or balcony. They thrive both in the ground and in pots – perfect for any outdoor space, large or small.
Plant the bulbs in autumn and let nature do the rest. Everything the flower needs is already inside the bulb. Come spring, you’ll enjoy blooms in the most beautiful colours.
Grow your own happiness – even without a green thumb!
Our tips for success:
- Plant in October or November – not too early, as the soil is often still too warm in September. You can still plant in December, as long as there’s no frost.
- Choose a sunny or semi-shaded spot
- Always use fresh potting soil and make sure there’s good drainage when planting in pots
- Water right after planting – and again during dry spells in spring
- Leave the bulbs outside during winter (only cover them with straw or leaves during hard frost, or move pots to a sheltered spot)
- Tulips are not naturally perennial. Some stronger varieties may bloom a second or even third year, but often less abundantly. For a full display each spring, we recommend planting new bulbs every autumn.
Inspiration for extra flower joy:
- Combine tulips with narcissus or grape hyacinths for a playful mix
- Try layering bulbs in a large pot: tulips at the bottom, then narcissus and muscari, and pansies on top
- Give bulbs or a gift card – the lucky recipient will think of you all spring long!
