Details

Potatoes from seed require special attention during the sowing process. Sowing: Sow from February to May in seed trays or pots at 16-20°C. A consistent temperature is crucial in the first days after sowing. From mid-May, harden off the seedlings and transplant outdoors. Plant before tuber formation begins. Plant spacing: 20 cm in rows 60 cm apart. Harvest: 100-120 days after transplanting. Wait until plants yellow and die off. Harvest like seed potatoes, using a fork to avoid damaging the potatoes.
