Orlaya Grandiflora White
The pure white flowers of Orlaya Grandiflora are easy to grow.
The white umbels resemble delicate lace, making them a fresh addition to any bouquet. After flowering, they form clusters of green, star-shaped seed pods—just as charming!
Keep cutting regularly, and they will continue to bloom. Known as laceflower and Queen Anne’s lace in Dutch.
This annual summer bloomer performs well as both a cut flower and a dried flower.

Tips
Harvesting Orlaya
Harvest when about 80% of the flowers in the umbel are open. The blooms should be bright white and free of visible pollen.
For dried flowers: wait until seed heads have developed.
Sowing advice: Direct sowing is recommended. For continuous summer harvest, sow 2–3 times in succession, about 2 weeks apart.
Regular cutting will extend the blooming period.
How many seeds do you need per square meter?
Each packet contains enough seeds for approximately 1 square meter of flowers. This varies by species, so keep the mature size of the plants in mind.
A handy tip: don’t sow all at once. Stagger the sowing times to extend the blooming season and have a backup if the first sowing underperforms.
One seed can grow into a full plant, so give the seeds plenty of space.
Store your seeds in a cool, dry place and they’ll remain viable for 2 to 3 years.
How much sun do annual flowers need?
Annuals bloom best in full sun, with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Ideally, more than 8 hours of sun will result in faster and more profuse blooms. In shady areas, flowering may be limited.
