Iris Katharine Hodgkin 10 st.
Iris 'Katharine Hodgkin' is a dwarf iris that blooms early.
One of the first bursts of colour to wake up your garden after winter: Iris 'Katharine Hodgkin' is a stunning dwarf iris that brings pure joy in February and March with its blue, white-speckled petals and subtle fragrance. Though small in size (about 15 cm tall), it's a true eye-catcher thanks to its unique blend of blue, yellow and white – like little works of art emerging from the soil. Perfect for naturalising in sunny to semi-shaded spots. Ideal for borders, rock gardens or pots on your terrace.
Planting tip:
For rich flowering and years of naturalising, plant the bulbs about 10 cm deep in a sunny, warm spot. They prefer well-drained soil, ideally slightly clayey or loamy. If your garden has sandy soil, enrich each planting hole with compost or leaf mould mixed with clay minerals – this gives your iris the best possible start.
